Too close for my comfort!

Nate had yet another baseball game last night~ It was a very close game~ they won the game by 1 run. I didn't think that they were going to pull it off but they did in the final inning of the game~ thank god our team was last up to bat otherwise the outcome might not have been a win for the Rays. The final score was 9-8 so nates team gets to stay in 1st place for our division ~ Go Rays.

Nate and the 5th graders are participating in track meet today at 2:3o at Irondale Highschool~ how neat is that. They get to run track on a real field and its a nice one. I am unable to attend todays meet but hopefully I will make it to next weeks final and get some action pictures.

I will keep you updated on how well he did today against the other schools. I hope he does good being his birthday and all.

I sent him to school today with treats for his homeroom class~ I hope they like them. Oh, my little boy is growing up~ this will be the last year of bringing treats to school. I wish I would have remembered this earlier~ but I could have ordered a birthday cake to be delievered to him at lunch and went and had lunch with him (and about 6 other of his friends~ they seem to like to surround me when i do that).

Track meet results :
Nate got 1st on the 100 and 2nd for the 60~ good job. The kids sure seemed to be having fun running around on the high school track.
